As you are no doubt aware, Ontinuity owned and operated the hardware and network infrastructure within its own datacentre locations, this is where the majority of their clients were located. As well as the clients located directly on the Ontinuity network, they also deployed and supported environments in other larger public clouds like AWS, Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud as part of theor wider services.
To support this move, we are in the process of moving away from maintaining our own datacentre presence in favour of utilising Amazon Web Services (AWS) as our underlying Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) for hosting related services.
Shared Hosting services, Managed Server hosting, along with Domain name Registrations and some other services will be moving over to a new Limited Company ‘LMentary Limited’ which will focus on our Cloud related services, with Digital Continuity Limited (Ontinuity) retaining the Datacentre focused services such as Co-Location, Managed VPN, Leased Lines and Offsite Backup Services.

What Does This Mean for You?
The migration process will be seamless where possible, there will be no disruption to the services while we perform this work and much of which has already been completed. In some circumstances we will possibly need your cooperation as we do not control things like the DNS records for every client or will need to agree on a suitable time to make such changes. Where this is a requirement of your migration, you will receive separate correspondence over the coming weeks.
From the 1st January, invoices for affected services will be sent from LMentary Limited, including new payment details; please take note of the new details on all invoices to avoid delays in renewing services.
